About Polisi
What is Polisi?+
Polisi is an independent digital platform for requesting and comparing insurance in Georgia. It is not an insurance company and does not issue policies: you submit one request, providers prepare the terms they choose to submit, and the insurer you select confirms the contract and issues the policy.
How does a request work, from start to finish?+
You choose an insurance type and complete the guided request in Georgian, English or Russian. After contact verification, an administrator sends the request to relevant active insurers. You then compare the offers those insurers choose to prepare and decide whether to continue with one.
What does it cost to use Polisi?+
Nothing. Submitting a request and comparing the offers released to you is free — the home page states a ₾0 service commission. What you pay for a policy is set by the insurer, in the terms of the offer you accept.
Which types of insurance can I request here?+
Eleven: car, health, property, travel, life and pet for individuals, and employee health, fleet, business, agricultural and professional liability for companies.
Offers and comparison
Where do the offers come from?+
From the Georgian insurers your request is routed to. Each provider decides whether to prepare terms and what to include. Polisi does not set prices and does not create offers of its own.
Why don't I see an offer immediately?+
An offer appears in your account once a provider has prepared it and our team has released it. Until then the terms stay private, so nothing partial or unconfirmed is shown to you.
What should I compare between two offers?+
Price, coverage, exclusions and validity — every released offer states all four. A lower price with narrower coverage is not the same product, so read the exclusions before you decide.
Does Polisi recommend one insurer over another?+
No. We do not choose an insurer for you. Compare the released terms, ask the provider any questions, and decide whether an offer suits your needs.
Claims and policy service
Who issues my policy?+
The insurer you select. Polisi compares what providers offer; the selected insurer confirms the terms, issues the contract, and remains responsible for eligibility and for the documents you receive.
Who do I contact about a claim?+
Your insurer. Claims are handled entirely by the company that issued your contract, under the terms written in your policy documents. Polisi has no role in that decision.
Can Polisi change or cancel my cover?+
No. Any change, renewal or cancellation is agreed directly with the insurer that issued the contract.
What can I see in my account?+
The requests you have submitted, the status of each one, and the offers released to you — kept in one place instead of scattered across separate emails and documents.
Payments and renewals
Do I pay Polisi anything?+
No. Payment for a policy is made to the insurer, under the terms of the offer you accept. Polisi does not take payment for a policy or add a fee to it.
How is the price of an offer decided?+
By the insurer, from the information you declared in your request. Prices and coverage shown in a released offer come from the provider's submission, and the insurer confirms terms, fees and documents before issuance.
Can the price change after I choose an offer?+
It can. The insurer confirms the terms before issuing and may ask for documents or further information that changes them. What you see on Polisi is what the provider submitted, based on what you told us.
What happens when my cover comes up for renewal?+
You can submit a new request on Polisi and compare what providers offer for the next term. Renewing or ending your existing contract is arranged with the insurer that issued it.
Data and privacy
Who can see the information in my request?+
Our team and the insurers your request is routed to. We use account and release controls to limit who can view request and offer data.
Why do you ask for a personal ID or passport number?+
Providers need it to prepare terms for a named applicant, so a request without it cannot be quoted. Only the details a provider needs in order to prepare terms are shared with it.
What else is my data used for?+
Our Privacy Policy explains which data is shared, with whom, and for what purpose. Nothing is shared with a provider your request was not routed to.
Can I delete my account and my data?+
Yes. Your account settings let you export your data and delete your profile and personal records. Applications already transmitted to insurance providers cannot be recalled, and a small set of consent records is kept as evidence that processing was lawful.
