Frequently asked
Can I buy health insurance without a Georgian residence permit?+
In most cases yes — Georgian insurers sell private medical policies to foreign nationals, and a residence permit is not usually required. What each insurer asks for varies, so the offers you receive will state their own conditions.
I am studying here. Does my policy have to meet a particular standard?+
Yes. Foreign students at a Georgian university need cover that satisfies the requirements set out in Government Decree 572, and the policy has to run for the whole study period. Choose the student path and give us your study dates, and we will only route your request to providers offering a compliant product.
Can my policy cover treatment outside Georgia?+
Some products cover Georgia only, some add international treatment, and some are international-only. You can say which you need, and the offers you receive will state the territory each one applies to.
Can I be seen at a clinic where staff speak my language?+
You can tell us your preferred service language and which clinic networks matter to you. Those preferences go to the providers with your request; the offers state which networks each policy actually covers.
