For business
Cargo protected all the way
Cover for the goods inside your containers, or for your liability as the carrier. A single shipment or an annual policy — both are possible.
Frequently asked questions
Am I insuring the container or what is inside it?+
Georgian insurers cover the goods inside the container, or the carrier’s liability for them. The steel box itself, as a separate asset, is not really sold on this market — which is why that is the first question we ask.
What is the difference between cargo and liability?+
A cargo policy is taken by whoever owns the goods. Carrier liability protects a logistics company when a client’s cargo is damaged in its hands. If you are the carrier, the second is probably what you need.
Should I choose a single shipment or an annual policy?+
With a few shipments a year, individual policies are simpler. With a regular flow an annual policy is cheaper and saves arranging cover each time.
Will I need to give the exact route?+
Not to get an offer — the direction is enough. Specific ports, the vessel and the bill of lading are declared under the policy once it exists.
