Frequently asked questions
How is this different from professional liability?+
Professional liability covers financial loss caused by a mistake in your advice or professional work — a separate product for architects, auditors, lawyers and IT specialists. This one covers physical harm: someone injured on your premises, or your work damaging someone else’s property.
What is the limit, and how do I choose one?+
The limit is the most the policy pays for a single incident. Small and mid-sized Georgian businesses usually choose between ₾100,000 and ₾500,000; higher-footfall premises — restaurants, gyms, childcare — tend to go higher.
Does it cover an injured employee?+
No. Employee injury belongs to accident insurance, which is required by law for increased-risk work. The two are separate products and do not substitute for each other.
What will I need to take out the policy?+
To get an offer, what you tell us on this page is enough. To issue the policy the insurer will also ask for a registry extract and, in some cases, a site visit.
